My name is Torie Johnson.
I am the owner and creator of Grounded Root Wellness. What started as a concern for the quality of my yoga mat turned into an idea to bring wellness to the forefront, in many different forms, to as many communities and cultures as possible.
Practicing yoga, meditation, strength training, going to therapy, and having life coaching sessions has been invaluable in my journey toward peace and balance. I want to spread these fundamental practices to everyone, especially underserved and underrepresented minority demographics. I wish to empower more people to find holistic ways to root down and stay grounded in their everyday lives, finding the "I am" of their Root Chakra.
My Mission
I want to offer these services and products without reducing the message to the stereotypical rhetoric and gimmicks often assigned to minority communities and projects.
Grounded Root Wellness strives to aid the community in incorporating these critical elements as a daily part of their reality, not just for the elite or majority.
